This thang brangs the BASS! I have this an two 1000watt Mackie thumps and it does the trick and more.

Looked at different subs for almost two years before pulling the trigger on these. Read a lot of specs and reviews. When I first hooked them up I wasn't very impressed, then I found "club mode" holy bat bass Batman! Very pleased, running Yamaha DSR115s for tops.

I purchased a pair of the ELX200-18SP subwoofers as I had a single older 18" EV subwoofer and at some of my events it wasn't quite enough low end. All I can say is WOW!! Not only are they individually about half the weight of my older sub, the output of a single one is greater than that of the older one as well. I have not had any issue filling the spaces that I perform in. I've even had a venue ask me to turn down the bass. I have these paired with the ELX200-12P mains and the sound quality is top notch. The QuickSmart app allows for me to set the levels on all of the speakers while standing where my audience is vs behind my booth. Make sure you get the padded covers for transport and storage. Definitely worth the money to keep the subs looking their best. Overall these subs have been a great purchase. Without a doubt will be buying more EV products from Sweetwater.

I am responsible for sound in a working band playing nearly 100 shows a year. Our primary equipment failed after many years of abuse, and I purchased these speakers. It has been a month, and they work amazing. Paired with the mains, the sound quality is superb. I have no problem create a robust sound for a small venue or outdoor show. Well worth the value.
